Services
Independent Medical Examinations
An IME is an objective evaluation by a licensed physician, who is not the treating physician and is used to help untangle complex issues such as medical causation between a compensable injury and resulting impairment or disability.
DISABILITY Rating
After an injured person reaches maximum medical improvement (MMI) a thorough history and physical examination is performed to determine the estimated loss of a body structure or function.
Chart Review
Medical record reviews are performed to answer questions based on contested issues of an injured person. Some of these questions may involve whether an injured person is able to return to work or perform a different kind of work.
Life Care Planning
A life care plan is created after a person suffers a catastrophic injury to determine the future medical needs. According to the International Academy of Life Care Planners a life care plan is a dynamic document based upon published standards of practice, comprehensive assessment, data analysis, and research, which provides an organized, concise plan for current and future needs with associated costs for individuals who have experienced catastrophic injury or have chronic health care needs.
